Supporting the Poppy Appeal – November 2017

It is the last week in school before it is Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. Warrant Officer Knott came into worship today to promote ‘Poppy day’ and remind us of the importance of all the armed forces…and how the Poppy helps us to remember those who have been injured, or have lost their lives through the Wars and conflicts over the last century.
Don’t forget that on Friday 10th November at 11.00am, we will be gathering around the war Memorial next to school to lay a wreath and to say some prayers – led by Father David. Please join us if you can!!
